Meet Freddy: The Sunshine of My Days 🧡

Meet Freddy! AKA Mr.Mans AKA King Fredrick! I call him the king since when I first got him in 2023 when I left the navy, I barley had my apartment furnished. Mean while, I had more cat trees and toys for him then anything I had for myself. I made sure he had all his spoils before I even have a box frame to sleep on! I adore this cat like he is my own child. I've bought him across the US back home to see my friends and family multiple times. Every time I bought him anywhere, he would always turn everyone's head and give them a big smile in return.

When I first found him, the shelter and I believed he was only 2-3. He was small and he chose me. On on Sunday, i decided to go visit a few shelters to share my love with some animals that needed it the most. As soon as i saw him in his own room just laying there, I wanted to say hi. Immediately as soon as I came into the room, he rubbed against my leg and sat on my lap. After serving for 5 years and moving around a lot before then, I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness that I would be able to finally secure what I now call my own child to provide him a safe and comfy place to live and stay.

It was obvious that he chose me. But his back story before I showed up was that he was homeless and tried to have an older women adopt him by laying and rolling around on her back porch. She was not able to care for him so she bought him in. 3-4 days later I showed up and gave him a home right away. He has yet to leave my side since. This year he will be 5 years old!!!! I cant believe it myself!!!
